2023 JEEP® WRANGLER 4XE - READY FOR ELECTRIFIED ADVENTURES
The 2023 Jeep® Wrangler 4xe has several changes. Introduced in 2020 as the first-ever hybrid Jeep® Wrangler, the 4xe is America's most beloved off-roader's chance to dive headfirst into the magical world of electrification. Then again, the Jeep® Wrangler 4xe has always been a "right man, right SUV." It has a 17.3kWh battery pack under the rear seat, giving it an electric range of 20 miles. It also has two electric motors to add grunt and all-wheel traction.
The 2023 Jeep® Wrangler 4xe received new paint colors (Earl and limited edition Reign) and an American flag on the front fenders. Other than that, the 4xe has the same 400-volt battery and Torque-Flite eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Jeep® Wrangler 4xe is designed for off-road work, despite its electrified core. It is still available in Sahara 4xe and Rubicon 4xe trims, both of which feature a four-door body style with removable doors and a magnesium tailgate to save weight. The Sahara 4xe has a stock all-wheel drive transmission and a Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case with a low gear ratio of 2.72:1.
Meanwhile, the Rubicon 4xe features front and rear heavy-duty Dana 44 axles, off-road rock rails, and a stock Rock-Trac NV241 transfer case with a 4:1 low-range gear ratio. These two powertrains will take you further into the wilderness than your average hybrid SUV.
