2023 JEEP® WRANGLER 4XE - READY FOR ELECTRIFIED ADVENTURES

The 2023 Jeep® Wrangler 4xe has several changes. Introduced in 2020 as the first-ever hybrid Jeep® Wrangler, the 4xe is America's most beloved off-roader's chance to dive headfirst into the magical world of electrification. Then again, the Jeep® Wrangler 4xe has always been a "right man, right SUV." It has a 17.3kWh battery pack under the rear seat, giving it an electric range of 20 miles. It also has two electric motors to add grunt and all-wheel traction.

The 2023 Jeep® Wrangler 4xe received new paint colors (Earl and limited edition Reign) and an American flag on the front fenders. Other than that, the 4xe has the same 400-volt battery and Torque-Flite eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Jeep® Wrangler 4xe is designed for off-road work, despite ​​its electrified core. It is still available in Sahara 4xe and Rubicon 4xe trims, both of which feature a four-door body style with removable doors and a magnesium tailgate to save weight. The Sahara 4xe has a stock all-wheel drive transmission and a Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case with a low gear ratio of 2.72:1.

Meanwhile, the Rubicon 4xe features front and rear heavy-duty Dana 44 axles, off-road rock rails, and a stock Rock-Trac NV241 transfer case with a 4:1 low-range gear ratio. These two powertrains will take you further into the wilderness than your average hybrid SUV.

2023 JEEP® WRANGLER 4XE STYLING & INTERIOR FEATURES

Throughout the interior of the 2023 Wrangler 4xe, you can appreciate an exceptional selection of features that will add comfort and convenience to your time on and off the road. The 2023 Jeep® Wrangler Sahara 4xe features 18-inch wheels, body-colored fender flares, a leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, and keyless entry. Standard tech features include an 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment touchscreen, an updated Driver Information Display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity.

On the other hand, the Jeep® Rubicon 4xe adds stiffer stuff like 17-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich KM all-terrain tires and an electronically-disabled front sway bar. Also standard is the custom Off-Road Plus driving mode, which optimizes throttle feel, shift points, and traction control to handle more challenging terrain.

Regarding safety, the Jeep® Wrangler 4xe has stability control, electronic hill-start mitigation, hill-start assist, brake traction control, and trailer sway control. It also has a front-facing TrailCam camera to view what's going on underneath through the 8.4-inch infotainment screen.

Powered by a strong 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the 2023 Wrangler 4xe produces 375 hp and 470 lb.-ft of torque thanks to the Jeep® hybrid system. And with zero emissions around 20 miles, it delivers an EPA-rated 49 MPGe. Moreover, the hybrid system adds weight-the 4xe can tip the scales above 5,200 pounds.
