The most powerful and well-known SUV in the world, the Jeep® Wrangler, offers unrivaled off-road performance and is the product of more than 80 years of 4x4 engineering expertise.

Powertrain options include a 6.4-liter V-8 HEMI® engine with 470 horsepower (Rubicon 392), a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with stop-engine start (ESS), and a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 with ESS or e-Torque mild hybrid technology. Jeep 4xe electrification is also available. A 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine with ESS is also an option for four-door Wrangler models. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and a 400-volt battery power the Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid, providing 21 miles of all-electric range and 49 MPGe.

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is one of the few SUVs to offer a six-speed manual transmission in addition to the available eight-speed automatic. It also keeps its body-on-frame, front and rear five-link suspension, solid axles, and electronic lockers. The Wrangler's appeal is increased by a plethora of technological features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as security features like Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Forward Collision Warning-Plus.

Innovative new features in the 2023 Jeep Wrangler are coming to our dealership near Greenwich

Available for a limited time, the Wrangler Freedom Edition features enhanced features and a military-themed exterior and interior design elements such as an Oscar Mike badge on the tailgate, an American flag decal, and a steel front bumper and stone rails. Rubicon models get optional 17-inch wheels and a new standard Wrangler American Flag decal on each front fender.

Some of the highlights:

  • The standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine delivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque, with ESS and a six-speed manual transmission.

  • The Wrangler's 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine is available with eTorque mild hybrid technology and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

  • The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with ESS delivers 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft of torque. Standard on Sahara and available on Rubicon and Sport  

  • The Jeep Wrangler 4xe Plug-in Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a 400-volt battery and two electric motors, delivering 21 miles of all-electric range and 49 MPGe.

  • Wrangler four-door models offer a 3.0-liter V-6 EcoDiesel engine with ESS rated at 260 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft of torque. The EcoDiesel V-6 is mated to a TorqueFlite 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission calibrated for low-rpm shifting to handle the increased torque.

  • A Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case with four-wheel drive and a low 2.72:1 gear ratio is available on Sport models.

  • Rock-Trac 4x4 system with all-wheel drive and 4:1 "4LO" ratio as an option on Rubicon models

  • The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 four-door model offers a 6.4-liter V-8 HEMI engine rated at 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft of torque. To handle the increased torque of this model, the HEMI V-8 is mated to a TorqueFlite 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission.

  • Serviceable transmissions on Sport and Sahara models include a Command-Trac NV241 two-speed transfer case with a low-range 2.72:1 ratio and next-generation Dana front and rear axles. Additionally, the optional Trac-Lok rear limited-slip differential provides additional torque and traction in low-traction conditions such as sand, snow, or mud. 

  • Sahara and Wrangler Sport models offer a Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case with four-wheel drive and a low 2.72:1 gear ratio. This permanent two-speed transfer case is intuitive and allows the driver to set it and forget it, constantly sending power to the front and rear wheels.
