There is also a plug-in hybrid version of the Wrangler Unlimited called the 4xe. The Wrangler Unlimited 4xe has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors and a 17-kilowatt-hour battery that delivers 375 horsepower combined and up to 21 miles in electric mode. 

Leading the lineup is the wild Rubicon 392, the only Wrangler to offer a 470 horsepower 6.4-liter HEMI V-8.

A part-time all-wheel-drive system is standard on the Sport, Sport S, and Sahara, with full-time all-wheel drive optional. The 4xe and Rubicon 392 come standard with all-wheel drive.

Regardless of engine or transmission, the Wrangler is rated to tow up to 2,000 pounds, and the Wrangler Unlimited tows up to 3,500 pounds.

All-wheel drive is standard on Jeep Grand Cherokee models with a V-8 or hybrid engine. However, rear-wheel drive is standard on this Jeep model's base V-6 engine. There are various all-wheel drive options, including one with an electrically limited locking differential. The more robust off-road equipment and more capable Trailhawk model feature an adjustable air suspension that provides up to 11.3 inches of ground clearance and a detachable strut that provides better wheel articulation for challenging terrain.
